Lara: Hi, my name is Lara Baden. I'm the VP of Clinical Lab Operations at LungLife AI. At LungLife, we're building a world-class quality system because it's not enough to have a high performing diagnostic test if you don't have top-notch systems and facilities in which to run it. LungLife operates a CLIA certified clinical laboratory in Thousand Oaks, California. The Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments, or CLIA, regulate laboratory testing and require clinical labs to be certified by the Center Medicare and Medicaid Services before they can accept human samples for diagnostic testing.

We are also pleased to receive accreditation from the College of American Pathologists. The CLIA and CAP programs regulate laboratories that test patient specimens to ensure accurate and reliable test results are produced, in addition to helping laboratories achieve the highest standards of excellence to positively impact patient care. This means our LungLB^® test is run in an environment that meets stringent requirements for clinical diagnostic testing. Importantly, these certifications are not a one-time thing. We perform continuous oversight of our processes and participate in regular audits to ensure compliance with the highest clinical laboratory standards. I am personally very proud of our facilities here in California and the daily commitment of my colleagues to maintain our high standards.
